The BanglaTollywood’s number one heroine Rituparna Sengupta will play a modern-day Charulata in Agnidev Chatterjee’s ‘Charulata 2011’. Agnidev is is remaking the classic tale of extramarital love with a modern twist. The role of Rituparna is of a married woman who falls for a much younger man, to be played by Samadarshi. Casting for the husband is yet to be finalised. The film stars Rituparna Sengupta, Samadarshi Dutta and Bratya Basu.
