The BanglaTollywood’s number one heroine Rituparna Sengupta will play a modern-day Charulata in Agnidev Chatterjee’s ‘Charulata 2011’. Agnidev is is remaking the classic tale of extramarital love with a modern twist. The role of Rituparna is of a married woman who falls for a much younger man, to be played by Samadarshi. Casting for the husband is yet to be finalised. The film stars Rituparna Sengupta, Samadarshi Dutta and Bratya Basu. Agnidev confirmed the news saying, “We start shooting for the film on 4th September'2011 and plan to release it by end-November.
