Those who enjoyed the madcap matrimonial comedy Tanu Weds Manu have another reason to be happy. A sequel of the film is in the works. Production house Eros International Friday has collaborated with director Aanand L Rai to make Tanu Weds Manu Season 2. “After Tanu Weds Manu, we are looking forward to partner with Aanand Rai for Season 2. We are confident the sequel will be equally memorable and as entertaining as its predecessor,” Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd said in a statement. Rai said he hoped to recreate the same magic with season 2 and reach out to global audiences. The company will be announcing details of the film including cast and crew shortly, Lulla said. Obviously, the leading cast of Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, who were the main draw of the film, will most likely remain unchanged.
